Dit is inmiddels deel 17 van de zeer populaire “Disco Giants” compilatieserie. Het was -zoals altijd- moeilijk om een goede selectie te maken en tracks te vermijden die in de loop der jaren tientallen keren zijn samengesteld. Maar men is er weer in geslaagd om exclusieve nummers te vinden die nog steeds erg in trek zijn bij muziekfans uit de jaren 80, zodat Disco Giants vol. 17 opnieuw een uitstekende mix is geworden van bekende en minder bekende tracks.
